DIY | chocker necklace

Knit jumper | Pimkie
First picture via Nelly.com

I wanted this metal chocker from Scandinavian webstore Nelly.com, you can imagine my disappointment when I realized they don't ship to Belgium. As soon the initial regret had faded, I decided to try to make one myself, not in metal ofcourse - that would be a little too crafty for me - but with the cheapest materials around, cardboard and tinfoil. Mine turned out a little wider than the original, but all in all, I like the result.
I think it would look quite nice over a turtleneck as well.

Yesterday I read (on Ivania Carpio's blog) the metal chockers from Nelly.com are of poor quality, so after all I'm glad I couldn't order them.
